Synopsis: Kondaveeti Prashanti grows up with little control over her own choices. Her parents arrange her marriage to Ambati Omkar Naidu, a well-known fishery businessman from Dhawaleshwaram in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. Prashanti adjusts to her husband’s lifestyle, only to gradually realise his true nature. What follows forms the crux of the story.
